Five terrorists were liquidated in the Turkish province of Hatay, the Turkish media reported.
Turkey's Ministry of Internal Affairs said that on August 28 the terrorists took five hostages who were released later.
"Terrorists were liquidated as a result of an air-backed counterterrorism operation in a rural area in the southern Hatay province," Trend cited the statement as saying.
