Environmental monitoring conducted today near the Gunashli and Oil Rocks offshore fields in the Caspian Sea didn’t reveal any serious oil spills, SOCAR said on its website.
“The monitoring is being held using specially equipped vessels and helicopters. No major oil spill has been detected up until now," Trend cited the message as saying.
"The satellite images obtained by AzerCosmos from Canadian company MDA also confirmed the results of the monitoring," SOCAR added.
