Haddad: Syria has never used chemical weapons

Damascus has never used chemical weapons, the Syrian Ambassador to Moscow Riyad Haddad stated during a lecture in Moscow today.

"Indeed, mass media reported that the Syrian government used chemical weapons, but this is a part of the information war. We have never used chemical weapons. It's another matter who actually may use it in Syria. There are terrorist groups supported by Turkey that have used chemical weapons,'' RIA Novosti cites him as saying.
