Western policy has led to the emergence and strengthening of Daesh militants' influence in Syria. This opinion was expressed today by Syrian Ambassador Riyad Haddad during his lecture in Moscow.
"My country, Syria, assured from the very beginning that the Syrian government is not opposed to the 'Arab Spring', or the aspirations of people, but the proven method of a color revolution which was planned in the region,'' RIA Novosti cites him as saying.
