The Heydar Aliev Center will present Modernism and Fashion exhibition of Alexander Vasilyev’s collection.
On October 5, the Heydar Aliyev Center will open an exhibition of clothes and ornaments of the 1960s ‘Modernism and Fashion’ of the unique collection of the famous Russian collector, fashion and art historian Alexander Vasilyev.
The exhibition will be held in Baku for the first time with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The exposition will showcase 100 samples of clothing and 350 accessories from the Alexander Vasilyev Foundation. The rare Haute Couture dresses made in the atelier of the world famous designers Chanel, Dior, Balmain, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Nina Ricci, Cardin, Couregge, Laroche, Cassini, Valentino will be shown.
