I came up with the idea that you can take individual fragments from different carpet schools and put them in the squares, using still life, for example.I liked this series and I decided to develop it further. As a result I got a very colorful mix of European still life and Eastern ornament, which I used for scarves and other things," she said.
She also spoke about the significance of carpets for the Azerbaijani culture. "A person who was born in Azerbaijan begins to walk on the carpet since early childhood. That is why there is a carpet in every house in Azerbaijan. It represents warmth and comfort. All of its ornaments bring happiness, well-being and prosperity to the house," she explained.
