French President Francois Hollande stated that sanctions against Russia may be lifted after Donbass holds its first legitimate elections.
"I am stating that it is necessary to make further efforts. The Ukrainian side should make constitutional reforms. This is a condition for the implementation of Minsk Agreements," he pointed out. "The Russian side should exert pressure, so that eastern Ukraine holds indisputable elections. Then we can go to the final stage – the restoration of the border between Russia and Ukraine, and the removal of European sanctions against Russia," TASS quoted him as saying.
