Honorary Consul of France in Turkey suspected of selling boats to migrants

French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius has temporarily suspended the honorary consul in Turkey from work, as she is suspected of involvement in selling boats to migrants.

"The Minister has ordered her temporary suspension," RIA Novosti quoted the message of the agency.

This decision was made after a TV report, filmed, allegedly, in Bodrum, where many refugees are travelling from Turkey to Greece. It reported about a store selling products for swimming, the owner of which is alleged to be the Honorary Consul. A French flag hangs outside of the shop. According to some sources, illegal migrants were among its clients.
