Iranian Defense Minister General Hossein Dehghan compared the US Navy in the Persian Gulf with a mindless armed robber.
"What is the business of US troops in the Persian Gulf? It is better they leave the region and not cause trouble for the countries of the region," he said in the interview with the Fars agency.
The Iranian general made the remark in response to the claims made by the American military commanders. He described the American claims as tension-creator and full of lies.
"Is it logically acceptable to let mindless armed robbers enter your place and lay red carpet for them. It is one example of the modern negligence," the Mehr News Agency as saying.
