A humanitarian pause is extended until October 24, its further extension is also possible, Russia’s envoy to the UN and other representations in Geneva Alexei Borodavkin said.
He stressed that the situation in Aleppo can change due to Russia's and Syria's actions.
"A humanitarian pause was introduced due to humanitarian reasons, it has already been extended until Monday and may be extended in the future, if Jabhat al-Nusra and others illegal armed groups, which joined it, do not violate the ceasefire," TASS cited Borodavkin as saying.
