The Hungarian Foreign Ministry said that Russia’s Gazprom began to supply gas above levels stipulated in the contract, the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, Peter Szijjarto announced, following the results of negotiations in Moscow.
Until the end of August, the Turkish Stream pipeline will supply Hungary with 2.6 mln cubic meters of gas daily, the Hungarian Foreign Ministry informs.
In late June, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that Hungary, under long-term contracts, receives gas five times cheaper than other participants of the market.
