Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan denied media reports that he had had a secret meeting with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad at the request of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"I have not met with Assad and I do not intend to meet with him," RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
Recall that Turkey, along with Russia and Iran, participates in the negotiations on the Syrian settlement in Astana as a guarantor of ceasefire.
