The suspension of the flight certificate by the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) does not mean termination of Boeing 737s operation by Russian airlines, the Russian aviation official Sergei Izvolsky said.
"A ban on flights of a particular type of aircraft may be imposed only by the specifically authorized federal executive body – Rosaviatsia, which hasn’t taken such a decision," TASS cited him as saying.
