The Director of the IMF’s Middle East and Central Asia Department, Masood Ahmed, said at the meeting with Armenia’s PM Hovik Abrahamyan that the IMF is ready to support Yerevan.
Ahmed stressed that the IMF is ready to support in the present complicated geopolitical and regional economic situation the Armenian government. Abrahamyan highly appreciated the role of the IMF in the economic development of Armenia, as well as the importance of the further expansion and deepening of bilateral cooperation.
The interlocutors discussed questions referring to the government activity priorities, tax and customs administration, ArmToday reports.
