Russia's security forces detained two ISIS supporters (terrorist group banned in Russia), who were awaiting instructions from the group's leaders from Syria to organize a terrorist attack, the Federal Security Service in Russia's Vladimir region said.
"The detainees have initiated contacts with the ISIS members, currently living in Syria. They were expecting specific instructions from the leaders on the purchase of firearms, the necessary components for the production of improvised explosive devices, and the selection of objects for the commission of a terrorist attack," Gazeta.ru cited the Federal Security Service as saying.
All the detainees are from the countries of Central Asia. A criminal case has been opened under the article on an encouragement for acts of terrorism.
