Former Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov commented on the words of President Vladimir Putin that the head of the state offered his then colleague Bill Clinton to discuss the possibility of Russia's joining NATO.
"At the official level, we did not offer anything, I personally did not take part in such discussions," Ivanov, who headed the Foreign Ministry in 1998-2004 said, RIA Novosti reports.
