Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and the President of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, First Vice-President of the Republic Mehriban Aliyeva, have received President of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Morinari Watanabe and Secretary General André Gueisbuhler.
Ilham Aliyev noted the very successful holding of the World Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Baku.
Watanabe, in turn, expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani leader for the successful holding of the World Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Baku and the support given to gymnastics.
FIG President also expressed hope that the Azerbaijani gymnasts will achieve success at the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020.
