President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited the Alley of Honors to pay tribute to national leader, founder and architect of modern Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev.
The presidents laid wreaths at the tomb of the national leader.
They have also visited the Alley of Martyrs in Baku and laid wreaths at the Eternal Flame monument erected in memory of Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country`s independence and territorial integrity.
The Azerbaijani and Turkish presidents then laid wreaths at a monument to Turkish soldiers in the Alley of Martyrs.
