Ilham Aliyev congratulates President of Latvia and Sultan of Oman

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has congratulated the President of Latvia Raimonds Vejonis on his country's national holiday.

"On my own behalf and on behalf of the Azerbaijani people, I congratulate you and all the people of Latvia on Independence Day. I am confident that we will continue to make efforts to strengthen our bilateral relations, extend our countries' traditional ties of friendship and cooperation,’’ the text of the congratulatory message reads.

The head of the Azerbaijani state also congratulated Sultan of Oman Qaboos bin Said on his birthday, Trend reports.
