President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a delegation headed by Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia - First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Valery Gerasimov.
Ilham Aliyev said that the Azerbaijani side was pleased to create conditions for holding next talks between the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia and his Western counterparts in Baku, and noted that these meetings serve to prevent risks and are aimed at strengthening mutual trust.
