Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held a meeting with President of the European Olympic Committees Janez Kocijančič, the press service of the head of state reports.
During the meeting, Kocijančič noted that he was pleased with the visit to Azerbaijan. He also paid attention to fact that the 15th European Youth Summer Olympics Festival was organized at the highest level. According to him, this significant event is an excellent springboard for winning future Olympic awards.
Kochiyanchich stressed that Azerbaijan has taken high positions in international sports. "It happened, largely due to your work," the President of the European Olympic Committees said, addressing the President of Azerbaijan.
