The Georgian TV company Imedi has announced a significant change in its editorial policy, caused by the intention to change the format of the program and develop a new television product. Now the channel won’t show social or political talk shows.
"In the fall TV season, the TV company Imedi is to temporarily suspend socio-political talk shows. This is due to our desire to change the format of the existing programs and develop a new TV product, which will be on offer in 2016. In this statement we want to thank the members of the team, each of them made a significant contribution in order to create socio-political talk shows,’’ Georgia Online cites the statement.
At the moment, it is already known that the channel has rejected the talk show hosted by the journalist Inga Grigolia.
