Moscow has agreed with Delhi to assemble the Russian Ka-226 helicopters in India.
According to the agreement of Rostec, India is to assemble about 200 helicopters. In addition, Maintenance, operation and repair works and technical support of helicopters will be also provided in India.
"The agreement with India is the result of long negotiations with our Indian partners. This is the first Russian-Indian high-tech project, implemented by the Indian government in the framework of the ''Made in India" project," RIA Novosti cites General Director of Rostec Sergey Chemezov.
