The Ingush village Targim hosts the international MMA tournament M-1 Challenge ‘Battle in the mountains’.
The competition marks the 24th anniversary of the Day of Republic, against the backdrop of the delightful scenery of mountainous Ingushetia, near the Targimskaya Jeirakh basin district. The arena for the fights, the fighting ring and bleachers for spectators are in the open air, surrounded by the majestic mountains and medieval monuments of the Ingush architecture, the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza reports from the place.
The fighters from Russia, Spain, USA, France, Croatia, Estonia and other countries participate in the fifth anniversary tournament. More than 20 thousand spectators came to this sport event featuring mixed martial fighters from 11 different countries
