It is planned to suspend the inspection of entrepreneurs’ activities in Azerbaijan for two years from November 1st, 2015.
This decision is envisaged in the draft law submitted by Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev to the country’s parliament in the order of legislative initiative, AzerTAg state news agency reports.
Addressing the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, President Ilham Aliyev noted that there are many complaints about inspections in the sphere of entrepreneurship. He stressed the excessive number of licenses and cases of abuse in this sphere, adding that such cases will be prevented, and those who don’t draw the right conclusions will be punished, Trend reports.
The decree signed by Ilham Aliyev envisages minimizing the number of licenses, ensuring transparency and simplifying the rules for issuing licenses, as well as transferring the right to issue licenses for entrepreneurship activities from the Ministry of Economy and Industry to the ASAN service.
