The total volume of investments in the Russian tourism industry in 2016 may reach 16 billion rubles, the head of the Federal Tourism Agency, Oleg Safonov, informed.
"In 2015, 4 billion was allocated by the state. The actual co-investment was at the level of about 4 rubles for every ruble invested in the framework of Federal Target Program. More than 12 billion rubles was attracted as extra-budgetary money resources. And for this year, we have the sum, (from state budget) set at 4 billion rubles," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
