The singer and State Duma deputy Iosif Kobzon and the Central Military Orchestra of the Russian Defence Ministry headed by Valery Khalilov are to perform today at the Hmeymim air base for the Russian servicemen who serve in Syria.
"Our Central Military Orchestra, headed by Lieutenant-General Valery Khalilov, will perform today at the airbase together with Iosif Kobzon. It will be a worthy conclusion of the events in honor of the Fatherland Defender's Day,’’ the head of the culture department at the Defence Ministry Anton Gubankov said.
