Iran’s first pumped-storage hydroelectric power plant 'Siah-Bisheh' came on stream. Iranian First Vice President, Eshaq Jahangiri, attended the ceremony of the opening.
He described the accomplishment of the power plant as a "great national breakthrough", the IRIB news agency reports. According to him, this is proof that Iranian experts can carry out giant projects.
The Siah-Bisheh power plant was built with a fund of 13 trillion rials ($1 = 29,900 rials), Trend reports.
