Iran agrees to establish joint bank with Russia

According to the deputy co-chairman of the Russian-Iranian intergovernmental commission Mehdi Mohtashami, Iran and Russia are to create a joint bank.

"A founding of a joint bank is one of the main aims of the intergovernmental commission. We received a proposal from the Russian side, and it was examined by the Central Bank of Iran and the proposal was approved," he said.
