Iran’s Foreign Ministry appointed Javad Jahangirzadeh as the Islamic Republic’s new ambassador to Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
The Islamic Republic’s seven new ambassadors including Jahangirzadeh met with President Hassan Rouhani Aug. 28, prior to departing to the country of their mission, the official website of the Iranian president reported.
The 50-year-old Jahangirzadeh, who will replace the country's former envoy to Baku Mohsen Pak Ayeen, was born in Urmia city, Iran’s West Azerbaijan province. He has PhD in political sociology.
