The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) has denied reports that the core of its heavy-water reactor in Arak has been dismantled, the Iranian news agency IRNA reports.
"The AEOI must finish the agreed actions before the day of the implementation, as ordered by the supreme leader. In this regard, some preparatory work has been started but the dismantling of the core of the reactor has not been completed," Gazeta.ru cited the official statement as saying.
Earlier, Vestnik Kavkaza reported with reference to the Iranian FARS news agency that Iran has completed the dismantling of the core of the reactor in Arak.
