Tehran wants to buy T-90 tanks from Russia. The statement was made by the commander of Iranian ground forces Brigadier-General Ahmad Reza Purdastan during today's opening ceremony of the sports events of the Iranian military ground forces.
He said that Russian-Iranian relations in the military-technical sphere have considerably strengthened. "In connection with this, the matter of purchasing of Russian T-90 tanks is on the agenda. We hope that relevant contracts will be concluded, and our experts will pay a visit to Russia in order to receive operating experience of modern technologies,’’ Tass cites him as saying.
