Iran hopes Japan is ready to abolish the existing sanctions against Iran in order to restore the volume of imports of oil and natural gas from the Islamic Republic at the level it was prior to the introduction of these sanctions, Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh said today at a meeting in Tehran with the Japanese Deputy Minister for the Economy, Trade and Industry Daysiro Yamagiwa.
"Japan will be able to recover its share of Iran's energy market at the level which it was before the strengthening of sanctions," Kyodo cites Zangane, Tass reports.
