Iran negotiating on purchase of two satellites

Iran is in talks with companies from Russia, France, Japan and South Korea to buy two satellites. According to the Iranian Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Mahmoud Vaezi, one of the satellites is a national telecommunications satellite and the other one is a national telemetry satellite.

He also noted that the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action has led to major changes in the international situation.

Vaezi recalled that the fields of communication technology, information technology and space industry of Iran needs modern technologies. "Recently, foreign companies did not negotiate with Iran on technology transfer. Things have changed and negotiations have started," Iran.ru cited him as saying.

In addition, the minister stressed that today there are virtually no restrictions in Tehran. "Prices decline, competition increases, and Iran's conditions for importing high quality goods will be accepted," Vaezi summed up.
