Iran plans to increase cooperation with Pakistan

Iran and Pakistan will increase bilateral cooperation in a wide range of areas, President of Iran Hassan Rouhani said today during his two-day visit to Pakistan.

"We discussed issues of cooperation in energy, gas industry and exporting of electricity. We also discussed ties between the Pakistani port of Gwadar and the Iranian Chabahar," Rouhani said at a press conference following the meeting with Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif and talks at the level of delegations, Tass reports.
