Iran plans to produce Peugeot in Azerbaijan

Iran intends to open a car assembly plant in Azerbaijan, the Director of Iranian large auto company İran Khodro (IKCO), Hashim Yeke Zare, said.

"The plant will be built by using an Azerbaijani businessman’s investment, and at the first stage, cars will be assembled in Azerbaijan," he said.

It is planned to manufacture 10,000 cars per year at the plant in Azerbaijan, and part of these cars will be exported.
