Iran ramps up uranium enrichment to record high

Iran has increased the rate of uranium enrichment to the highest rate in the history of the country, the head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami said.

"Today, the uranium enrichment capacity in Iran has reached the highest level in the history of the country's nuclear industry," Tasnim quotes Eslami as saying.

Eslami clarified that the previous figures are now more than doubled.
