Iran's spiritual leader Ali Khamenei said at the meeting with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi that Iran is serious in the campaign against terrorist groups.
'The Islamic Republic of Iran will use all means to fight that phenomenon,' Ayatollah Khamenei stressed.
Ayatollah Khamenei reiterated that the Muslim countries should combat terrorism, and expressed regret that terrorist activities are wrongly attributed to Islam.
According to him, those Muslim countries that are not following the US and Western policies have no real and serious intention to fight terrorists.
The Indian prime minister underlined Khamenei's call for a serious fight against terrorism and said that the countries that are serious in fighting terrorism must close ranks, Trend reports.
