Iran is behind the recent Palestinian attacks on Israel, the head of the US Department of State, Mike Pompeo said.
"Iran does not want peace in the region ... Until we respond to threats from Iran, violence will continue," Pompeo wrote on his Twitter account.
Pompeo also said that the only option in the current situation, in his opinion, is to continue pressure on Tehran until it sits at the negotiating table, RIA Novosti reports.
