The construction of three naval bases and two naval zones has been launched in Makran, the Iranian Navy Commander Rear Adm. Habibollah Sayyari said at a press conference.
The authorities started to pay special attention to the development of the Makran coast after Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei marked it as one of the priority tasks in 2014, Iran's Tasnim news agency reports.
