Tehran police will no longer arrest women for breaches of Islamic codes, the Iranian capital’s police chief Brig. Gen. Hossein Rahimi said.
"Based on a society-oriented, educational approach, the police will not arrest those who don’t respect Islamic values. It will instead educate them," the Islamic Republic News Agency cited him as saying.
