The Iraqi authorities were against the deployment of the troops of other states on its territory. Yesterday the country's Foreign Ministry issued a strong statement about the fact that the Turkish Armed Forces have entered the region of Mosul.
"The Turkish armed forces, which entered the area of Mosul, have invaded the territory of Iraq without our consent and must immediately leave it,’’ the Trend news agency leads the official text of the statement.
