A children's camp with lessons in the basics of Islam, the Arabic language and proper reading of the Holy Quran has opened at the republican madrasa of Karachay-Cherkessia. Muhammad-haji Erkenov, deputy mufti of the republic and director of the regional madrasa, said that the goal of the camp was to teach children about religion, RIA Karachay-Cherkessia reports.
The lessons will be organized by graduates of the madrasah. Some of them are teaching the Arabic language and reading the Quran in the Malokarachayevsky District.
