Former head of the Israeli government Yair Lapid criticized the actions of the current prime minister. He stated that Israel is now "a wounded, inflamed, bewildered country." However, there is a way out of the situation.

Former Prime Minister of Israel, head of the Yesh Atid party, Yair Lapid, in a publication dedicated to the 100 days of the government of Benjamin Netanyahu, expressed confidence that the country is experiencing the greatest national crisis in history.

Assessing the achievements of a new government, Lapid stated that Israel is now "a wounded, inflamed, confused country."

“We have never seen such a rapid destruction of values. A terroristic attack is followed by another terroristic attack. The economy is collapsing, inflation is skyrocketing, tech companies are leaving Israel, and the cost of living is constantly rising…but none of this seems to be of interest to the government,”

the oppositionist complained.

According to Lapid, Netanyahu has lost political independence, and his ministers Levin, Smotrich and Ben-Gvir are now speaking on behalf of the prime minister (Israeli Justice Minister Yariv Levin, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir - ed.).

Lapid  noted that the failed policy of the Netanyahu coalition led to some positive changes. In particular, the difficulties united the country and contributed to the emergence of a liberal political camp.

“In 100 days, a huge liberal camp was organized in Israel, which insists on protecting the country and its values. We have seen people from the right, the left, and the center come together to save Israel. We love this country and are ready to change the current situation,”

the oppositionist summed up.
