In the event that Iran buys the S-400, this could bring an Israeli strike on its nuclear facilities closer, Bloomberg writes, citing sources in Israel and the USA.
According to the agency's sources, by the end of 2023, Iran will be able to create about ten bombs from uranium enriched to 60%.
Also, according to Israel, Tehran's intention to purchase the S-400 suggests that the Iranian authorities are trying to protect the facilities from Israeli strikes.
Earlier, the USA and the EU expressed concern about the implementation of Iran's nuclear program. In particular, the head of the Pentagon Lloyd Austin will make an official visit to Israel, where he will consider Iran's nuclear threat against Israel.
Similar concerns are shared by the European Union, which spoke on the purchase by Iran of centrifuges and other equipment for uranium enrichment.
