Italian President Sergio Mattarella has praised the measures and achievements of Georgia in the fight against the pandemic, Agenda.ge reports.
After exchanging information on the situation in Georgia and Italy, President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili and Matarella noted that the pandemic should not hinder close cooperation between Georgia and Italy.
Zurabishvili mentioned that it is important to strengthen cooperation in the creation of a vaccine against the virus in order to ensure universal access to it.
