At the moment, the presidents of the USA and the Russian Federation have no plans to meet, the head of the Kremlin administration Sergey Ivanov said.
"As far as I know, a meeting between Obama and Putin is not planned," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.
Earlier, the Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that Russia has not sent the White House any request for a meeting of the two Presidents on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York and the US side has not requested one either. He stressed that the Russian Federation is not refusing to make any contacts, on the contrary, it calls for an intensive dialogue.
