Kishi said that Janelidze’s visit to Japan will open new dynamics in Georgia-Japan economic cooperation, adding that Georgia’s business environment has an excellent reputation worldwide and Japanese companies are attracted to the country.

"Georgia is not only a recipient of Japanese assistance but also, with its liberal economic environment, investment and business opportunities and democratic development, can become an interesting location for Japanese business projects in the region”, Janelidze said as he met with local journalists at the National Press Club of Japan.

Janelidze is expected to meet with top managers of Japanese companies to explore investment opportunities. He already met with Toshiba management in Tokyo and discussed the business environment of Georgia and opportunities in robotics, energy and logistics, Agenda.ge reported.
