A Former French Prime Minister, Jean-Pierre Raffarin, has published an article that calls on Europeans to turn their eyes to the East and seek a strengthening of contacts with Russia and China. According to him, the actions of the West are pushing Moscow to work more closely with China and to interact less with the European Union, which is amenable to US pressure, trying to control the world.
The author expects that, together with Russia and China, Europe will be able to create a ‘triangle of prosperity’, where each side will have their human, resource and financial benefits, as well as demand for jobs, wages and safety. In the same triangle, Jean-Pierre Raffarin sees a pledge of independence for Europe.
