The FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku showed that there is still work to be done, the Azerbaijani gymnast Yulia Inshina said today following the performances in the floor exercises, the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza reports.
"This is my first performance in the new year, and in general I did a good job at the Cup. The last performance was not great, but basically I performed my whole program. I hope that at the next competitions I will be able to perform even better. Of course, I still have work to do," she said.
Julia Inshina added that already on Monday Azerbaijani gymnasts will fly to Doha for another stage of the World Cup.
The FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup is being held in Baku on March 16-19. Athletes from 23 countries will compete for 10 medal sets.
